The City of Thomaston has some new zoning requests. Please see the below information and do not hesitate to contact the City Clerk, Oasis Nichols (onichols@cityofthomaston.com or 706-647-4242 Ext. 4) with any questions or concerns regarding these new rezoning requests.
* 504 West Gordon Street (Parcel # T22 040) - Rezoning Request to go from M-R-C (Multifamily Residential District with Conditions) to C-1 (Neighbor Commercial) zoning district.
* 506 West Gordon Street (Parcel # T22 041) - Rezoning Request to go from M-R-C (Multifamily Residential District with Conditions) to C-1 (Neighbor Commercial) zoning district.
* 115 Thurston Avenue (Parcel # T22 042) - Rezoning Request to go from M-R-C (Multifamily Residential District with Conditions) to C-1 (Neighbor Commercial) zoning district.
* 113 Thurston Avenue (Parcel # T22 043) - Rezoning Request to go from M-R-C (Multifamily Residential District with Conditions) to C-1 (Neighbor Commercial) zoning district.
Public hearing dates are set for:
Monday, March 20th (3/20/2023) at 12:30pm in the City-County meeting room located on the main floor of the Thomaston-Upson Government Complex (106 E Lee Street, Thomaston, GA 30286)
Tuesday, March 21st (3/21/2023) at 7:00pm in the City-County meeting room located on the main floor of the Thomaston-Upson Government Complex (106 E Lee Street, Thomaston, GA 30286)
A vote by City Council will be held on April 4th 2023 at the regular City Council meeting at 7:00pm.
