Help The City of Thomaston Celebrate Building Safety Month!
We celebrate Building Safety Month every May. Building Safety Month is a public safety awareness campaign sponsored by The International Code Council and local governments. This campaign helps individuals, families and businesses understand what it takes to create safe homes and buildings.

The City of Thomaston would like to inform all citizens that regular meetings of the Mayor & City Council which are held on the first and third Tuesdays of every month are now open to the public for in-person attendance.
In addition, the Council voted to reinstitute the public comment section of the regular meetings. These measures correspond to the Governor’s latest order. This became effective April 8th, 2021. The City Council still urges those who wish to attend in-person to continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) safety protocol regarding Covid-19.
Interested citizens who wish to speak at any meeting should contact the City Clerk for details and procedure.
